Central districts: culture and busy evenings
Brera puts galleries and small streets into an easy walking itinerary; the Duomo area is useful for major sights. Navigli and Porta Nuova offer different evening atmospheres. These are places to explore across Milan, not descriptions of the apartment location. A lively district can also mean more noise, so inspect the individual listing.
North-west Milan: a different daily rhythm
Our apartments sit in a residential courtyard where colourful older buildings meet modern interiors. There are green surroundings and nearby walking or running routes. Consider this setting if it fits your campus or assignment, especially when comparing destinations around MIND, San Siro and the wider north-west.
Public transport: use the network, check the route
Metro, tram, bus and suburban rail routes connect many parts of Milan. Some journeys take around 30–40 minutes; others need an hour or more, including walking and changes. Service conditions and weekend timetables vary. Use the destination table and check the actual departure in an official planner.
Build a week that includes the city
Leave time for more than commuting. Pair a museum visit with a neighbourhood walk, use a park for a run, and spread the major sights across your stay. The city guide includes Leonardo, Brera, the Duomo, districts and independent restaurants with official links.
